The Cisco ASR1002 Dubai integrates the route processor for control plane functionality, the services processor for data plane traffic, and a carrier card designed to accommodate I/O modules and shared port adapters, all within a unified chassis. The Cisco ASR1002 Dubai is equipped with 4 built-in SFP ports and features 3 box slots for I/O connectivity.The integrated route processor comes with a default configuration of 4GB DRAM, with the option for upgrades to 8GB or 16GB.
