The Cisco Catalyst3650-24L Dubai represents the next evolution of enterprise-class standalone and stackable access-layer switches, establishing the groundwork for seamless convergence between wired and wireless networks on a unified platform. Specifically, the Cisco Catalyst3650-24L Dubai model harnesses the advanced Cisco StackWise®-160 and leverages the innovative Cisco® Unified Access Data Plane (UADP) application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC). This switch facilitates consistent wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility, application optimization, and heightened resiliency. Supporting full IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), the switches in the Cisco Catalyst 3650 Series are equipped with modular and field-replaceable redundant fans and power supplies, contributing to increased wireless productivity and reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

The Cisco Catalyst3650-24L Dubai switch incorporates Cisco StackWise-160 technology, an advanced stacking architecture with a stack bandwidth of 160Gbps. This technology, building on the success of StackWise®, employs Cisco IOS Software SSO for resiliency within the stack.

Functioning as a multilayer switch, the Cisco Catalyst3650-24L Dubai allows for seamless integration of wired and wireless connectivity on a single platform. Engineered to complement the Cisco StackWise-160 technology, it provides expandability when needed and lowers the initial cost of ownership compared to alternative switches. Powered by Cisco’s Unified Access Data Plane (UADP) ASIC, the switch enables uniform wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility, and application optimization. Additional features include support for full IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), RJ45 and fiber-based downlink interfaces, as well as redundant fans and power supplies, ensuring high-speed connectivity at 160 Gbps.
