Description

Grandstream GXP1780 HD IP Phone Dubai

The Grandstream GXP1780 Dubai is a notable addition to the mid-range IP phone market, aimed at users seeking an enterprise-level phone without the need for a touchscreen interface. With an already crowded mid-level phone market, what sets the GXP1780 apart? Visually, it resembles the GXP2170 and GXP2135, featuring a black gloss screen bezel, a silver-highlighted color screen, and silver DTMF keys. While the aesthetic is appealing, it would be beneficial for Grandstream to adopt a consistent design style. The GXP1780 measures 9” in width with a 2”-wide handset that lacks a central taper. The layout is well-designed, with large, well-spaced buttons. The eight-line/vMPK keys are arranged around the backlit 200 x 80 pixel LCD screen. Standard dedicated function keys include phone book, transfer, conference, headset, mute, and volume, alongside four-way directional keys for menu navigation—a consistent feature across Grandstream’s enterprise phones.

The Grandstream GXP1780 Dubai is designed for demanding mid-range users, offering 8 dual-color line keys and support for 4 SIP accounts, providing both power and flexibility at an attractive price point. Its 4 context-sensitive soft keys are XML programmable, and the 200×80 backlit LCD displays information such as the 32 customizable BLF or speed dial keys. The phone boasts a 2,000-entry phonebook and can store 500 call history records. HD audio is available via the handset and a full-duplex speakerphone, with a headset connection possible through the RJ9 port. Additionally, Plantronics headsets can connect via EHS. Running on the open SIP standard, the GXP1780 offers maximum flexibility with service providers. Dual Ethernet ports with pass-through connect the phone to your LAN, with PoE support if available. Security is ensured with TLS and SRTP encryption technology.

The Grandstream GXP1780 Dubai IP Phone is designed to scale with growing businesses, offering essential modern IP features alongside advanced functionalities that can be integrated as needed. This scalability allows enterprises to focus on growth without sacrificing advanced features. With a stylish design and mid-range call capacity, the GXP1780 is ideal for fast-growing SMBs seeking IP telephony solutions that can evolve with their business needs.
