There are two versions of the Speak410: a standard model and a Microsoft-certified version optimized for Microsoft Lync, enabling easy web conferencing and phone calls.

Your computer should recognize the hardware immediately, but if not, Jabra does include a driver software CD. We plugged it into our office computer, and our PC recognized it immediately. When it’s powered on, the Speak410 will display a tiny white LED at the bottom. When you adjust the speaker volume, 12 similar white LEDs will light up, indicating the speaker’s volume level–all 12 light up if it’s at maximum volume. When you press the mute button, the LEDs turn red. The device can stream music from any source, including smartphones, laptops, tablets or MP3 players. Standard (E-STD) variation microphone sensitivity is comparable to a normal telephone receiver and is used in most telephone devices HD Voice lets you have lifelike, vibrant conversations. Not many other companies offer a speakerphone that would benefit from software updates, of course, but right when you first plug this one in to your PC, you can use the disk that comes in the box to install a program called Jabra PC Suite.
